VTCT is the first awarding body to award Diplomas in Hair and Beauty Studies. VTCT, the specialist awarding body for the hair and beauty sector, has announced three learners from Sussex Coast College have achieved the first ever Diplomas in Hair and Beauty Studies. Diploma in Hair and Beauty Studies available from most English schools

Following an announcement by Schools Minister Jim Knight, from 2010, 72% of local authorities in England will offer the Diploma in Hair and Beauty Studies. From this September, up to ten Diploma subjects will be taught in selected areas of the country, and a further four subjects will be available from 2010.
