MÁDARA, made from natural products harvested from the land and sea of Latvia and recently introduced into the UK, has launched a cleanser, Purifying Floral Foam.

Suitable for all skin types but especially for dry and sensitive skin, MÁDARA Purifying Floral Foam carefully frees the skin from make-up or dirt accumulated during the day or night and leaves the skin clear and clean.

Easy to use, just lather the floral foam with warm water in wet hands and gently massage into the face and neck with light circular motions. It can then be rinsed off with cool water, washing away make-up and dirt.

MÁDARA Purifying Floral Foam does not dry out or inflame the skin. All the ingredients including fragrant rosewater, as well as extracts of yarrow, St John’s Wort, calendula and chamomile are all harvested in the Baltic region and meet the company’s high standards.

MÁDARA Purifying Floral Foam costs Ł8.50 for 150ml.

The launch of MÁDARA Purifying Floral Foam now provides an extensive range of MÁDARA face and body products to suit all types of skin. The philosophy behind the brand is that only by using natural ingredients can we protect ourselves against the stress of modern life and the harm done by environmental pollution to our bodies.

The MÁDARA range is named after Latvia’s most delicate and fragrant flower, the MÁDARA. It was chosen because it symbolises the perfection and beauty of nature. The MÁDARA flower is arranged in a fractal, sprig-like structure, one of the most basic forms in nature’s architecture.

MÁDARA cosmetic products contain the active extracts of Baltic flowers and herbs. All ingredients are obtained from biological cultivation or picked from the wild. Only those preservatives which can be found in nature are used. Colours and pigments are inorganic/mineral pigments, which can be found in nature (e.g. white pigment Titanium Dioxide or Iron Oxides), or organic pigments that are obtained from fruits, vegetables or plants (e.g. Chlorophyllin from green leaves or Lycopene from tomatoes). Fragrance is created from essentials oils and components of essential oils.

MÁDARA products do not contain petroleum ingredients, chemical preservatives or anything which is allergic, toxic or destructive to the immune system or mineral oil which prevents the skin from breathing.

In accordance with the brand philosophy, all the products which need protection from air are packaged in vacuum dispensers. This is technologically the most advanced type of packaging, preventing oxidisation and contact with bacteria. The products are contained in opaque material which not only protects from sunlight but also avoids using artificial preservatives.

The brand carries the FSC logo which identifies products that contain wood from well managed forests certified in accordance with the rules of the Forest Stewardship Council.

The MÁDARA range can be bought at good quality health food shops or online.
