Wimpole Aesthetic Centre introduces VASER Liposelection

Wimpole Aesthetic Centre is one of the first in the country to introduce VASER Liposelection; a machine and procedure considered highly effective by experts for the fast removal of fat, from any part of the body.

VASER uses high frequency ultrasound to break down fat. A cushioning anaesthetic solution is injected into the area to be treated. A probe is then inserted beneath the skin and the ultrasound works to contour the area. The resulting solution contains some of the unwanted fat and is removed with gentle suction. VASER allows the procedure to be performed painlessly, under local anaesthetic and whilst awake. It’s known among cosmetic aesthetic doctors as ‘wide awake lipo.’

The greatest advantages of VASER are its speed (it’s a much quicker procedure than even SmartLipo) and the lack of a need for downtime. For example, pockets of fat in the upper/lower abdomen typically take 1½ hours to treat using SmartLipo. VASER takes 45 – 50 minutes.

The results and aesthetic benefits can often be seen much faster too; some evidence is immediate and ongoing improvements occur within 2 months of the first treatment. VASER’s combined action dramatically improves the appearance of the body shape, gently and gradually draining the treated fatty areas.
