Free yoga and Pilates classes at The Yoga Show

Whether you’re already a yoga devotee like Jennifer Aniston or Cameron Diaz, or want to discover more about how this ancient discipline can give you the body – and mind – you really want, then come along to the Yoga Show 2009 at Olympia 30, 31 October and 1 November 2009 at London’s Olympia.

Now in it’s sixth year, The Yoga Show not only showcases some of the world’s most respected presenters of popular yoga and Pilates styles, including Geri Halliwell’s yoga teacher, Katy Appleton, Duncan Wong and Dylan Ayaloo, it’s your chance to browse over 200 exhibitors such as Yoga Tea, Planet Yoga, Buddha Magic and The British School of Yoga, promoting the health, beauty, yoga and pilates products you need to make a switch to a new healthier lifestyle.

Strike a pose in one of the many free yoga and Pilates classes happening over the three day event, learn more about yoga at one of over 100 demonstrations and lectures, and relax with friends over a healthy organic snack and drink at one of the exhibition’s refreshment stands.

There’s also a chance to take part in the exciting YogaAid challenge: 300 yoga fans are due to take part in the exciting two-hour yoga practice overseen by 12 dynamic yoga teachers who will each lead nine Sun Salutations. The aim is to complete 108 sun salutations and raise a minimum of £108 in sponsorship through the website Just Giving. All sponsorship money will go to one of three important charities: WSPA which supports farm animals living in miserable factory conditions; the Prison Phoenix Trust which encourages the spiritual welfare of inmates and the Special Yoga Centre which aims to spread the practice of yoga to everyone, including children with special needs via classes at community centres throughout the UK.
