Permanent hair removal with intense pulse light treatment
(27/07/2009)
Laser hair removal is a specialist treatment which permanently removes unwanted hair from any part of the body. The most common areas for laser hair removal are the face, neck, bikini line, underarms, nipples, tummy line, arms and legs on women and face, neck, ears, back and chest for men. Results can be noticed after a few as three treatments but will vary according to the area treated and the individual.
Jan Birch from Manchester’s Blemish Clinic explains that permanent hair removal can be more than just vanity, “I have a number of female patients who are emotionally affected by unwanted hair growth. Women with Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) are especially affected by excess hair growth and can get extremely depressed and self-conscious about it.”
At Manchester’s Blemish Clinic, Jan Birch provides an intense pulse light treatment. She explains how it works, “Using the light we can burn the hair down to the follicle, this prevents it from re-growing. It’s a rapid and gentle treatment rapid and gentle, medically proven to provide permanent hair reduction.”
Jan explains a recent client found laser hair removal life changing, “I had a patient who hadn’t had a relationship or worn a bikini for more than ten years because of being embarrassed about her bikini line, after a successful course of permanent hair removal she is now in a happy relationship as her confidence and self esteem has returned.”
This summer, Blemish Clinic are offering 10% off all laser hair removal treatments, 15% off if you book six treatments and 20% off if you book nine treatments.
