Needle type electrolysis achieves permanent hair removal and treatment of skin blemishes
(12/10/2009)
According to the Advertising Standards Authority in the U.K. and the Food & Drugs Administration in the U.S.A, needle type electrolysis is the only method of Hair Removal that can claim to be permanent.
What many people are not aware of is that many of professional members are also qualified to perform Advanced Cosmetic Procedures. The demand from the public for these procedures is constantly increasing. However, the Medical Profession within the National Health Service is often too busy and sometimes reluctant to do anything about small benign lesions, as these are often viewed purely as a cosmetic problem.
With an advanced qualification in Electrolysis that includes an in depth study and knowledge of dermatology, a wider diversity of skin blemishes can be safely, quickly and easily treated with immediate results. Almost any benign fibrous and/or vascular lesion can be removed using needle electrolysis.
Some of the most successfully treated skin blemishes include: -
TELANGIECTASIA: Dilated capillaries (thread veins)
SPIDER NAEVUS: Centrally dilated blood vessel with smaller capillaries radiating from it like spiders legs.
CHERRY ANGIOMA: Also known as Blood Spots or Blood moles, Campbell de Morgan spots and Haemangioma more commonly found on the torso but can occur anywhere.
SKIN TAGS: Also known as Filiform warts or Epithelial Polyps, these are pedunculated (on a stalk) polyps. Frequently found in areas of friction eg. neck, underarm and below the breast.
PLANE WARTS: These are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), commonly found on the neck, décolleté, backs of hands and around the knees.
VIRAL WARTS: Verruca Vulgaris caused by the HPV virus, commonly found in children and young adults around the nails and hands.
SEBORRHOEIC KERATOSIS: Warts or basal cell papillomas. These tend to occur with age and most people over the age of 50 have at least one. Commonly found on the trunk, arms and backs of hands, these lesions vary in size and colour.
MILIA: Epidermal keratin cysts, that appear as pearly white, rounded lumps most commonly found on cheeks and around eyes and eyelids.
