Independent mindbodysoul urban spa reaches the finals of the Professional Beauty Awards 2010

Independent mindbodysoul urban spa in Balham, SW London have announced that they have reached the finals of the Professional Beauty Awards 2010 in two separate categories.

The annual awards run by Professional Beauty magazine recognize innovation and excellence throughout the profession. It is a great honour for the hard work of the Independent mindbodysoul (IMBS) team and their dedication to the beauty industry to be recognised amongst fellow professionals and reach Finalist status in the categories of Beauty Salon of the Year (4 rooms or more) and Employer of the Year (21 employees or more).

IMBS beat off stiff competition with their winning formula of exceptional customer service, an extensive treatment list, and an experienced and highly-skilled team. Not to mention the passion and drive of Director Vicky Stothard who continues to drive her business forward and expand the IMBS brand.

Professional Beauty Editor, Jenni Middleton said this year saw the awards become fiercely competitive: “The standard was really high, and I give credit and respect to those companies and individuals who have made it through to the shortlist. Congratulations and good luck to them.”

IMBS has already managed to notch up an impressive number of awards, most recently winning regional Salon of the Year, London & South East at the British beauty and Spa Awards in September 2009. This adds to awards from Wandsworth Council, South London Business and the industry accolade of winner of an Olive Award. They have also been awarded a Top 50 Salon in Time Out London – an excellent achievement for what is still a relatively young business.

The announcement of the winners of the Professional Beauty Awards 2010 takes place on 8th March 2010 at the London Hilton, Park Lane.
