Fake Bake presented the ‘Save Your Skin’ petition and hosted MP’s breakfast prior to secondary reading of ‘sun bed bill’.

On Tuesday 26th January Fake Bake’s CEO Sandra McClumpha presented the Save Your Skin petition to No.10 with representatives from The Sun newspaper and cancers charities Skin and Cancer Research.

It was with pride that I presented our petition to the government with the support of leading cancer charities Cancer Research and Skin’.

Sandra continues, ‘Far too many impressionable youngsters are getting badly burnt from unmanned coin operated. We are horrified to see them in games arcades and near schools up and down the country. We are calling for there to be stricter regulations and guidelines on the sun bed industry’.

Then on the Friday 29th January immediately before the sun bed bill was raised, Fake Bake were asked to host a breakfast in the House of Commons to educate the MPs on how the nation can achieve a safe tan.
