Get your beauty sleep with The Beauty Pillow

The Beauty Pillow Ltd. have come up with a simple and effective way of looking fresher and brighter when you wake, keeping wrinkles that would otherwise stay, at bay.

The Beauty Pillow was first designed 5 years ago in order to combat sleep lines (lines caused be sleeping night after night on the side of your face, the same as if you folded a piece of paper time and time again - it would become a deep crease). Initially they were targeting the 30-50 age group, as this is the age range when we first notice that sleep wrinkle lines are not springing back, as they in our younger years. They then realized that prevention is better than cure, so their target market increased.

In a small, East Yorkshire town, Kingston upon Hull, the idea for the beauty pillow was born from a very simple, serendipity moment. Hull, which is also the base of the textile factory where the pillow is made and also base for packing and distribution, may appear an unlikely place to launch a very cost effective anti ageing product, but not all great idea come from big citys.

Many years ago the inventor had started to notice small lines each morning from sleeping on the side of her face, which started to stay a little longer than usual. The chance idea was then given to a textiles designer in Leeds, the prototype was thus born. This concept was then trialled for 2-3 months, when they found that their simple, yet innovative idea really works.

The next step was to a find a local based textile factory to make their simple, but not easily made design. After a few attempts, the multi-layer satin beauty pillow that is now available, was conceived.

The satin, multi-layer pillow is a ‘must have, take everywhere’. Its small size (30x50 cm) designed to be placed just under your face to allow maximum movement of material, makes it easy to take on holiday or on business so that your face always looks its best when you wake.

The product works by using the flow of the material as a preventative measure for cutting down the resistance to your skin as you sleep - helping the skin not to be dragged and folded into line or wrinkle.

The product is aimed at men and women all over the world. One of its main benefits is in its preventative, rather than cure principle. If you are aged 18 to 25 you may stop lines from being formed. However, if you have already formed night lines, there is good news; between 25 and 35 night lines may be reduced in depth and from 35 onwards, your skin should look less stressed when you wake.
