Treat your Dad to a day of rest and relaxation at The Porchester
(16/06/2010)
Dads deserve the best this Father’s Day, so why not treat them to a day of rest and relaxation at London’s oldest spa, The Porchester.
For more than 80 years, The Porchester has been welcoming over 26,000 visitors a year through art deco doors to relax, rejuvenate and re-balance in the beating heart of Westminster. And what’s more, this elegant sanctuary has recently been awarded the prestigious accolade of 'Britain's Best Value Spa' by The Sunday Times Travel Magazine.
At just £23 for a day’s visit, Dad can be treated to precious time for himself. He can relax and unwind as he travels through a series of three Turkish hot rooms, where the heat gently increases with each room, revitalise between treatments in the invigorating body showers, deep cleanse in the two Russian steam rooms and then cool down in the ice cold plunge pool. Or he can just sit and enjoy the day in the sauna and Jacuzzi or read a book or newspaper in the peace and quiet of the relaxation room.
Derek Hambidge, General Manager comments: “Taking time out to relax and unwind from everyday stresses can be very therapeutic and at The Porchester, we're proud to be able to offer everyone fantastic facilities at realistic prices. Father’s Day is a time when we can show those we love just how important it is that they take time out for themselves and you could even make Dad’s visit more special by indulging him in a treatment or two without breaking the bank.”
The Porchester is open from 10am-10pm, 7 days a week, and operates mixed or male/ female only sessions. Spa opening times:
Daily: 10.00 - 22.00
Ladies: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Sunday (until 4pm)
Men: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday
Couples: Sunday (4pm - 10pm)
