Get the best hair-free look with Nad's
(12/07/2010)
If you are looking forward to getting married this summer, or like many of us will be a guest at a wedding this year, make sure you follow our all-important list of do’s and don’ts to get the best hair-free look and avoid any embarrassing stubbly bits!
1. Don’t de-fuzz the day before the ‘big day’ – try and de-fuzz at least 4 days before.
2. Don’t wax hair that is not at least 3-5mm long. The hair is not long enough to be removed.
3. When waxing, for best results make sure you hold the skin taught when removing the wax strips.
4. Try and avoid ingrown hairs, these can be caused by all methods of hair removal but more common with razors. If you are waxing, ensure the hair is pulled out cleanly without breaking it.
5. Make sure you cleanse the area thoroughly prior to waxing
6. Post-waxing ensure you remove all wax residue with warm water, then soothe the area with a body balm.
7. For a gentle approach to hair removal, try hair removal crèmes, they are easy to use with a fragrant smell.
8. Don’t forget there are hair removal products for men too, so if you like a smooth finish to your man, why don’t suggest he de-fuzzes too!
9. If going on honeymoon, ensure you pack some extra wax strips for any re-growing hairs! Don’t forget Facial Strips or Facial Wand for your eyebrows and upper lip!
10. And finally… Look out for our fun Brazilian & Bikini Wax – perfect for surprising your husband on your wedding night. Create shapes including the love heart, lightning bolt, landing strip and triangle!
For all your waxing needs, Nad’s the natural hair removal experts from Australia have a range of products to suit all needs, from Warm Wax, Facial Wand, Facial and Body Wax Strips, Brazilian and Bikini Wax, Ingrow Solution and the new Hair Removal crèmes.
